Award Presentation/Post Race Party
Begins immediately following Children's Sunshine Run.

• Cash Prizes donated by Runners Roost for top overall Male and Female finishers. Top three finishers in each age division will receive a hand painted trophy from Artful Creations.
• COOL SPOT PRIZES will also be awarded throughout the Awards/Post Race party. Must be present to win.

Finishing Times

OFFICIAL results will be generated as quickly as possible after the race and will be available at the Runners Roost, and also this Web site.

Pikes Peak Road Runners will be performing the timing for this year's race.

Age Categories

14 & under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 and over.

Team Competition

The team competition provides a fun way for businesses, running clubs, families, and other groups of competitive runners to compete for fame and prestige. The top 3 teams will receive awesome team trophy's. Individual team members are also eligible for regular age category awards. Each team member receives an official Alex Run T-shirt and the chance to win cool prizes.

It's easy to sign up - just follow these steps:

1. Organize your group: 4 runners minimum, 6 runners maximum per team. Top 4 scores will be calculated.
2. Designate a team captain and pick a team name.
3. Have each team member register for the 5K race. Teams can complete registration at or by filling out an entry form.
4. Have the team captain fill out the team registration section of the entry form.
5. Staple the entry forms together with the team captain's form on top. Be sure to include all individual entry fees, team registration fee of $5 and/or pledges raised. Raise $100+ in pledges(per runner) and the entry fee is waived.
